Serre Antwerpen met zonwering
Zonwering en screendoeken
Er zijn twee soorten zonwering die bij een serre gebruikt kunnen worden. Allereerst is er de buitenzonwering. Deze hangt, zoals de naam al zegt, aan de buitenkant en heeft als grootste voordeel dat het geen ruimte aan de binnenkant van de serre inneemt. Het zonlicht kan hiermee maximaal geblokkeerd worden en is een van de meest gekozen opties. De tweede optie is de awning aan de binnenkant van de serre plaatsen. Het voordeel hieraan is het feit dat dit makkelijker schoon te maken is en minder snel vuil zal worden omdat het aan de binnenkant bevestigd is in plaats van de buitenkant.
Vervolgens zijn er nog twee soorten doeken: een glasvezeldoek en een polyesterdoek. Het glasvezeldoek is erg geschikt voor verticale screens omdat het gewicht van het materiaal vrij hoog is. Een polyesterdoek daarentegen is in het algemeen iets lichter en kan zowel horizontaal als verticaal gebruikt worden. Een polyesterdoek is ook wat geschikter voor grote oppervlaktes.
